How Orena collects, uses, stores, and protects information across the app, support channels, and related services.
1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Orena, including the iOS app, related websites, support channels, subscriptions, and analysis features that link to this notice.
2. Information we collect
- Account information, such as email address and login identifiers.
- Profile data, onboarding responses, preferences, locale, and timezone.
- Photos, analysis inputs, and progress records you upload or choose to save.
- Subscription and purchase status from Apple and RevenueCat.
- Technical information such as app version, device type, crash data, and basic usage logs.
- Support communications you send to us by email or other contact channels.
3. Face data and AI analysis
When you accept the AI face analysis data notice and choose the face analysis feature, Orena collects one front-facing face photo and the generated face and skin analysis results, including skin score, elasticity score, facial detail metrics, priority focus areas, and related training recommendations.
The face photo is collected from your device camera only after you choose to take a photo. Before the photo is sent, the app explains what data will be sent, who receives it, how it is used, and how long it is kept. The photo is sent to Orena's secure analysis server and to the SiliconFlow/Qwen AI service to generate your analysis results and personalized recommendations.
Face photos and analysis results are stored with your Orena account using our backend storage and database providers. They are retained until you delete your account or request deletion. You may request deletion through in-app account deletion, Support, or the privacy contact below. Orena requires service providers that process this data to provide the same or equal protection and to use it only to provide the requested service.
4. How we use information
- To create and maintain your account.
- To provide face analysis, training plans, progress tracking, and personalization.
- To verify subscriptions, restore purchases, and unlock premium features.
- To send reminders and support messages you request or enable.
- To improve product quality, diagnose issues, maintain security, and prevent abuse.
5. How we share information
We share information only when necessary to operate the service, comply with the law, or protect users and the app. This may include trusted service providers that support authentication, storage, subscriptions, analytics, crash reporting, and content processing.
6. Third-party services
Orena may use Apple for sign-in, subscriptions, and platform services; Google sign-in where you choose that login method; Supabase for authentication and core data storage; SiliconFlow/Qwen AI service for face and skin analysis when you agree to analyze a photo; RevenueCat for subscription state; Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics; and PostHog for product analytics. These providers receive information only as needed for their role.
7. Data retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your data.
8. Your rights and choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data, subject to applicable law and technical limitations. Camera, photo library, and notification permissions can be managed in your device settings. Account and data deletion can be initiated from inside the app or by contacting Support.
9. Children’s privacy
Orena is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
10. Policy updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
